This is a whole cloth Story Quilt. it’s subject matter is the Evolution of The Bikiki. It shows how the women’s swim suit has evolved over many years to the skimpy bikini it is now. I wrote interesting facts about this evolution on the computer than printed them out on fabric

Political Diversity Story Art Quilt
This is a whole cloth story Quilt about embracing diversity in human beings. It was painted with acrylic fabric paint and inktense blocks and pencils. I also used stencils with Fabric markers and appliqué to embellish it. It was densely free motion quilted. It was chosen to hang in a show at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum.

Fauve Countryside $600.00
I love the Fauve Style of painting with it’s bright bold colors. I wanted to capture that feeling in this piece. I also tried something new when it came to the appliquéd buildings and trees. I drew them first on paper and colored them with colored pencils Then I scanned them into my computer and printed them out on fabric I really liked the look I achieved.
