Hello. My name is Casey Pike, and I’m a textile artist based in Colorado. Thank you for visiting my website.
A little about me. I’ve been a working artist in various mediums all my adult life. My oil paintings were displayed and sold in numerous galleries. Then I discovered the world of textiles. Like most art quilters I started out doing traditional quilting. I soon realized that method of using fabrics was too restrictive and structured for me. I started art quilting and never looked back. I love creating fine art with fabric. I enjoy working with the textile qualities of cloth and the unlimited color range and design made possible by hand painting, dyeing and other surface design techniques. It’s been a challenging adventure learning to work in this medium and I have enjoyed every minute of it.
